How the minifigure photo check works

Features

Photograph a minifigure, and BrickDb tells you what it is

Photograph one minifigure, and BrickDb names it, checks its parts and tells you what figures like it sell for.

Take a photo of one minifigure with the camera or pick one from your device. BrickDb names the figure, with up to two alternatives, and lists the sets it comes from. It checks each part the figure should have – is it this figure’s own part, a different one, missing, or impossible to tell from the photo – and names any accessories that are missing. Then it grades the figure on BrickDb’s own condition scale and shows what figures in about that condition have sold for, always with the number of sales and the period behind it. It needs an account, because each photo is read by an AI model and every person has a daily allowance.

What you can do

  • It names the figure from one photo and lists the sets it comes from.
  • It checks every part and names the accessories that are missing.
  • It grades the condition and shows a median sale price with its sample size.
